Gus Constantin

Founder, President, Chairman & Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Constantin began innovating the investor services industry with the founding of Phoenix American, Inc. in 1972. He serves as Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer for the parent corporation as well as for its six subsidiary corporations: Phoenix American Financial Services, Inc., Phoenix Leasing Portfolio Services, Inc., Phoenix Leasing, Inc., Phoenix SalesFocus Solutions, Inc., Phoenix Transfer, Inc., and Phoenix Cable, Inc.

Prior to founding Phoenix American, Mr. Constantin served as Director of Computer and Technical Equipment for DCL, Incorporated (formerly Diebold Computer Leasing, Inc.), and as Vice President and General Manager of its subsidiary, DCL Capital Corporation. Prior to DCL, he served at Price Waterhouse for three years as a member of their Management Advisory Services Group. For two years prior to that Mr. Constantin, along with Olin Mathieson, performed internal consulting for Mr. Mathieson’s operating divisions as a member of their Management Engineering Group. Mr. Constantin also worked for four years with IBM as a data processing systems engineer.

Mr. Constantin received a B.S. degree in Engineering from the University of Michigan and a Master’s degree in Management Science from Columbia University.

Tom Oprendek

Vice President, Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Oprendek is Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of SalesFocus Solutions and a Director of both Phoenix American SalesFocus Solutions and Phoenix American SalesFocus Solutions India Private Limited.

Tom has been with SalesFocus Solutions since 2000. He is responsible for overseeing the management of SalesFocus Solutions. Mr. Oprendek received a B.S. Degree from Penn State University and he holds a Juris Doctor degree specializing in Intellectual Property and International Law from Golden Gate University Law School.

Andrew N. Gregson

Vice President, Chief Financial Officer & Chief Compliance Officer

Mr. Gregson is the Vice President and CFO of Phoenix American Inc., Phoenix Leasing Portfolio Services, Inc. and several other Phoenix American companies. He has been with Phoenix American since 1998. Mr. Gregson manages the finance and treasury functions of Phoenix American and its related companies. His responsibilities include forecasting, budgeting, compliance, financial reporting, and overseeing banking relationships, portfolio services, accounting and cash management for the Phoenix American Companies.

From 1994 to 1998, Mr. Gregson was an auditor with Arthur Andersen.

Mr. Gregson graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. degree in Economics and Physics from Amherst College.

Carrie Pedraza

Chief Information Officer

Mrs. Pedraza joined Phoenix American, Inc. in January 2016 as the company's Chief Information Officer. She is responsible for all aspects of the company's IT infrastructure, including cloud hosting, network, internal business applications and information security.

Before joining Phoenix American, Carrie was the Chief Technology Officer for San Rafael City Schools and held the position of Vice President, Information Services at Digital Realty for seven years prior. Carrie has more than 25 years of enterprise-wide business and technology experience, including leadership roles at Charles Schwab, IBM and Genentech.

Carrie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems Technology from Golden Gate University. She also completed an Advanced Project Management certification program at Stanford University and continues her studies at the Pennsylvania State University World Campus with concentration on Information Systems Management and Security advanced studies.

Andrew Constantin

Senior Vice President of Operations

Mr. Andrew Constantin is the SVP of Operations and Owner of Phoenix American Financial Services.

Prior, he was a Founder and SVP of Marketing for PFI.  PFI was a communications company that operated state-of -the art- fiber optic networks in 26 cities across the United States. The company was sold to Worldcom in 1997 for a very substantial gain.

Following PFI, Mr. Constantin founded of a seed stage venture captial firm, Constantin Partners. CP was a successful venture fund which had notable exits such Tripwire Security and Bazaar Voice which went pubic in 2011. Mr. Constantin also served as an Advisor at Staenberg Venture Fund, II  actively consulted for communications companies.

Mr. Constantin serves as a Member of Strategic Advisory Board of Flywheel Ventures. He served on the Board of Directors for Samba Holdings. Mr. Constantin has been involved in numerous charities including Amnesty International and the V Foundation Wine Celebration of which he is a founding member. He has been featured in the Red Herring Magazine. Mr. Constantin received a B.S. in Communications from the University of Pennsylvania.

Kathleen Conte

Director of Application Development

Mrs. Conte has been with Phoenix American for over 20 years and for 10 years has been responsible for managing all investor services application development, client implementations, and system upgrades in architecture.

After several years working for the Phoenix Companies as an accounting systems administrator, Kathy joined the programming staff working on investor relations and leasing applications.  As director of application development, she lead the investor relations programming development team through the upgrade from a 4GL application to the state of the art application the company presents today.

Kathleen has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and Economics, from Plymouth State College.

Gerry Hastings

Managing Director

Mr. Hastings is the Managing Director of PAFS Ireland, Ltd. Mr. Hastings has been with the Phoenix American group of companies since establishing its Irish office in 2007. He is responsible for the day-to-day management of cash and financial reporting for a number of aviation clients.

Prior to joining the Phoenix American group of companies, Mr. Hastings was Vice President of Finance with AerCap Ireland Ltd. In addition to its own portfolio of aircraft, AerCap managed a number of significant securitized portfolios and joint ventures comprising leased aircraft assets.

Mr. Hastings received his Bachelor of Business Studies degree at the University of Limerick and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland.

Joseph Horgan

Senior Vice President

Mr. Horgan is the Senior Vice President of Phoenix American Financial Services, Inc. and a Director of both Phoenix American Financial Services, Inc. and PAFS Ireland Limited.

Mr. Horgan has been with the Phoenix American group of companies since 1998. He is responsible for overseeing the management of accounting, financial reporting, cash management, administration and reporting to the boards of various aviation clients.

Prior to joining the Phoenix American group of companies, Mr. Horgan was an auditor with Price Waterhouse LLP.

Mr. Horgan received a B. S. degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting from California State University, Chico and is a certified public accountant.

Jeff Iverson

Assistant Vice President, Director of Investor Relations

Mr. Iverson has been with Phoenix American for over 20 years and is responsible for managing the daily investment operations and client retention for several clients. In addition, he acts as the company’s primary representative for industry events and is a member of the Investment Program Association Operations Committee and the DTCC AIP Platform Committee.

Prior to joining Phoenix Companies, Mr. Iverson worked in the banking industry for Westamerica Bank and Bank of Marin.

Mr. Iverson attended the College of Marin.

David Fisher

Director of Marketing

David Fisher is the Director of Marketing at Phoenix American Financial Services. He manages all aspects of the company’s advertising, online presence and participation in industry events and conferences.

Since receiving his Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from the University of California Los Angeles, Mr. Fisher has worked as a writer and actor in Los Angeles and San Francisco working in film, television and radio. Since joining Phoenix American in 2010 he has successfully promoted the growing suite of services for alternative investment funds offered by the company.

Stuart Serpanchy

Vice President of Fund Accounting

Mr. Serpanchy joined Phoenix American in January 2016 as the company's Vice President of Fund Accounting. He is responsible for overseeing daily client accounting operations and deliverables, financial and investor reporting requirements, and managing fund audits.

Stuart has over fifteen years of fund accounting, financial reporting and operations experience in the private equity industry. He has extensive knowledge of direct investments, funds of funds, general partner accounting, complex fund structures, and financial reporting. Prior to joining Phoenix American, Stuart was a Vice President with Citi Private Equity Services, Inc. where he was primarily responsible for managing the day-to-day fund accounting, financial reporting and operations for various private equity funds.

Stuart graduated from the University of San Francisco with a MBA in Finance and California State University Hayward with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting.
